Naveira, MD completed his Pain
Management Fellowship at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine, of the Wake Forest
University, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, in 1994. His merits and abilities
earned him a position with the rank of Assistant Professor, at the University
Fellowship Program. He proceeded to specialize in Interventional Pain
Management techniques, and to teach at the institution, until late 1998, when
he transitioned from the academic to the private practice. Although he no
longer works in academics, he continues to donate his time and to lecture at
Bowman Gray’s Pain Management Fellowship Program. Naveira, MD has written
several articles published in the medical literature, including chapters on
“Blocks of the Sympathetic Nervous System” and “Facet Blocks”.
